So Today hasn't been all that bad. I had my morning Cheerios, almond milk and water combo for breakfast. Then at 10, one of my friends had thoughtfully brought me a chicken biscuit back from Chick-fil-A--a total surprise, though not unwelcomed. I was super hungry. Lunch I ate just a ham and romaine sandwich on a whole wheat bread round. No apple today, though. Wasn't all that hungry after the chicken biscuit and you're only supposed to eat when you're hungry, right? haha
This afternoon it was sort of drizzling rain so I decided instead of a full on walk, I'd walk over to the student union and get a hair cut. I've about had all the long hair I can take since I've had it long for...three years? Give or take. But the salon had closed at 3pm so I missed it. Instead, I meandered over to the food court and got a sweet tea. I know, I know, but it's only 250 calories which puts me at a little over 1200 calories so far. I've got about 400 to 600 more to play with and be within the range SparkPeople said I should eat to lose for my short term goal weight. So no worries. I haven't completely blown it.
For fat grams, I could have done without the chicken biscuit but since it was a thoughtful and unexpected treat from a friend I'm not complaining.
I got just over a half a mile walk in before the drizzle started to pick up a bit and I decided to cut my shortish walk even shorter. I don't feel too bad about it, though, because I was on my feet pushing book trucks and shifting boxes for about an hour this morning. That has to count for some physical activity, right?
Supper tonight will likely be a salad with romaine, b. sprouts, carrots and mushrooms. Oh, and onions. Maybe some sauteed jalapenos. I've still got a couple that I didn't use this weekend. And of course I'll have a fun sized Kit-Kat, probably. And a cup of coffee.
Mostly right now, I don't even care about food. I'm so sleepy I think I may just go home and get a nap and THEN worry about supper. :-D
