I didn't suck too bad this weekend.
No wait. No giving myself a pass. I sucked this weekend.
Friday night I did okay. I ate the Totinos and a fun sized Kit-Kat.
Saturday morning I got my Sonic fix of Ultimate Meat and Cheese Burrito, tots and a large coffee. Then I had tots for lunch because I'd bought a bag of frozen ones while grocery shopping. I also baked eight cookies and ate seven of them. I made a batch of home made chocolate pudding (recipe experimenting) and ate a bowl of it. I don't remember what I ate for supper Saturday night but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a good idea. Is it bad that I don't remember what I ate? Maybe it was so bad that I'm blocking it out.
Exercise for Saturday was mostly just random house cleaning chores. Laundry. Dishes. Clearing clutter. Never did get around to vacuuming or sweeping. Just barely finished laundry. Actually I think there is a load of towels still in the dryer. *sigh*
Sunday I made two chocolate chip scones, smothered one of them in chocolate pudding and strawberries for breakfast. For lunch I ate honey chicken and tots that my mom made and then we went to an event downtown and I ate a few cookies. Came home and made tots covered in cheese, bacon bits and sour cream. Then I ate another cookie and a small bowl of chocolate pudding.
And there was a lot of sugary/half and halfed coffee in there and at least one Coke. Sunday's exercise was the walking around downtown. Nothing strenuous.
Today started out okay with a Special K egg white flatbread breakfast sandwich and water. But then my friends wanted to go to Starbucks and I got the latte instead of the cappuccino and I also got three of the petite vanilla scones and ate all three. For lunch I had a ham sandwich on whole wheat bread rounds, 3/4 of an apple and a bowl of chocolate pudding. A long meeting and a project cut me out of my afternoon walk.
So yes. I have sucked all weekend long. Sucked, sucked, sucked.
I don't have an explanation for it other than I just got lazy and lost focus. I got tired of green things and walking and all that jazz. Good news is, other than the bag of frozen tots, everything I bought to eat this week is healthy. Broccoli, kale, romaine, mushrooms, Brussel's Sprouts, an onion, fresh corn, apples, lean sandwich meat, meatless Special K breakfast sammies, a Jimmy Dean egg white breakfast bowl with turkey sausage (cause I'm tired of Cheerios) and...I think that's it, other than my Friday night Totinos, fun sized Kit-Kat bars and the jar of canned strawberries. No chips. No meat (other than lean ham sandwich meat). Lots of green and vitamin rich foods. I do, of course, have some chicken breasts in the freezer that I will probably thaw one and stretch it over a couple of meals. Over all I'm happy with the things I brought home to eat. Do I wish there were some potato chips in there? Yes. Do I wish Panda Express would come to my house and fix me some orange chicken a couple times this week? Of course. But will I be satisfied with what I have? Probably. haha
Back to walking tomorrow. Giving away the rest of the chocolate pudding or throwing it out. Hiding the rest of the tots in the back of the freezer. Pretending I don't have cheese.
I'm going to kick this weeks ASS. And yes. I don't normally cuss but ASS feels appropriate. ;-)
