One pound

I'm one pound away from a 40lb weight loss since June. I weighed in at 221 this morning and did a little dance in my bathroom. I also took my measurements and I'm down by an inch in my belly, half an inch in my hips and half an inch my bust/under bust area. And yesterday when I put on a pair of sleep pants that were still a little snug a couple of weeks ago, they were a little baggy. So...Booya!

This week I'm going to have to really stay alert and keep track of how much I'm eating and walking. I have three lunch "outings" to attend. One is lunch with WBF for tacos, one is a pizza party we're giving our student assistants before their exams, and one is a birthday lunch with another friend.

Next week should be lighter on eating out but then the week after that is the first week of Christmas vacation/Winter break and I've got two lunches out already scheduled, plus baking with the kiddos and then the next week is Christmas.

BUT!

I know I can reign myself in enough to eat well the rest of the time and keep active so as to not gain anything back and maybe even lose a pound or two as I did over Thanksgiving week.

I am at the point in this whole thing where I don't get/stay as hungry anymore. If I eat one "big" meal during the day, I don't usually need to eat supper because I just don't get hungry.

So...maybe I'll make my next goal of weighing 200lbs by my birthday in March? Fingers crossed!
