In case you were wondering if I got all those steps in that I needed from my last post, Yes. Yes I did. I ended up with 12,210 steps that day. I made a point to get up more and I went for a walk at break. Then when I got home, Libby and I went hiking in the woods for a good bit.
This week I've come up short by a couple of hundred steps each day. I blame the fact that I walked off without my phone a few times. Today, though...today I blame on meetings keeping me seated for a bit longer than normal. And also, I'm just really tired.
I'm making a pledge to myself, though, to get a good hike in this afternoon at least try to get close to 10,000 steps even if I don't make it. Sometimes it's as much about making the effort as it is reaching the goal. You know, at least being able to say I tried.
I've relapsed into daily coffee drinking...except, it's now twice a day instead of just evening coffee. It finally turned cold/cool here and I've been craving a hot drink during my morning break and it's hard to resist when my hands are freezing and my throat is a little scratchy. I am still making the effort to decrease the amount of sugar I put in my coffee, though. I haven't quite made it to none...not even close, but every slight change helps, right?
I have been keeping up my water consumption, though. I get 74 to 80 ounces of water a day. I actually need to up that to 100 ounces...and I was doing really well before I started my morning coffee habit. I need to make a deal with myself that I can't have that morning coffee until I drink water first.
No new loss to report, though the pants I'm wearing today do seem ever-so-slightly looser than last time I wore them.
