Couple of things...

So this morning, even though I said I wasn't going to, I stepped on the scale and...I WAS DOWN AGAIN.

Yes, all the water weight I'd been holding finally released and I was actually down another pound. It isn't much, considering it's been two weeks since my last loss, which was 3lbs. But I'll take it. I did a little happy dance.

Also, I did my third morning of strength training. The one this morning was only 15 minutes and it didn't push me very hard. I was a little disappointed in it until I came to work and found out I'd be running and pushing heavy carts and moving heavy things most of the day. 9,983 steps at the moment. I haven't made 10000 steps in forever! Today's just been one of those days, though. So now I'm kinda glad the work out this morning wasn't very intense because I'd have had soreness on top of soreness, otherwise.

ALSO...I turned down a free donut and I don't even feel miserable about it! Like, I didn't internally cry when I turned it down. I did have a brief moment of temptation with that old stinkin' thinkin' of "I've been good all week. I can afford a treat." And then I remembered the whole point of this thing which is to avoid diabetes. And as much as I enjoy a good donut, I just couldn't do it. And I'm  happy with the decision.

Now. Off to guzzle some water and maybe pop another Advil.
