That's how much weight I've lost. 18lbs since June and 42lbs over all. And, I've lost four inches in my waist and three inches in my hips. So, yay!
I did fairly well with my no coffee zone last week. I ended up getting a morning coffee two days, just a plain drip coffee, not an iced Starbucks. I gave myself a pass on it because I was drinking it early enough in the day to "work it off." I did have coffee last night, though. I'm weak. lol
Other than that, though, I've done fairly well. I got a low fat, low cal half salad from Wendy's for lunch after church Sunday. I planned mostly no carb meals for this week. Last night's supper was a portabella mushroom pizza...as in, the portabella mushroom was the "crust" and the rest was just sauce, cheese, black olives, and pepperoni. I wanted the turkey pepperoni, but stupid Wal-Mart was out of them. Bleh.
I really liked it, except, I can't figure out how to make it without all the "juice" from the mushroom releasing and making it a wet mushroom. Maybe if I cooked it a couple fewer minutes?
I'm scheduled to have lunch out today with WBF for her early birthday lunch. The sliders are the $5 special today so I already know I'm going to splurge and get those--with water. Then tomorrow we're meeting at Starbucks for coffee. She gets a free one for her birthday and I have a free one on my rewards card for having spent half my take home pay on iced coffee the past couple of months. We're taking our coffee to Chick-fil-A for breakfast where I already know I'm getting the little skillet bowl that has only 21 grams of carbs as opposed to the 50-somthing in a biscuit.
It's all about planning ahead.
I brought my coffee today so that I could a) save that $1.27 and b) prepare it to the exact sugar to half & half ratio I need it to be.
One thing I do need to work on is upping my water intake. I just get busy and forget to drink! I'm considering putting reminders on my phone or my computer to remind me to drink a glass. It would also help me remember to get up and move on days when work isn't quite as active as it can be.
I hit over 10000 steps only one day last week and I felt like I'd been run over back a Mac truck. But I do need to make a more concerted effort to get my steps in. This morning was supposed to be a weight work out but...ugh...cramps kept me up most of the night and I just couldn't make myself get up and do them. Next time I need to make myself go ahead and do the work out. Maybe it would have helped me feel better. I for sure don't want to stop altogether.
