I had my six month cholesterol and thyroid check-up this week. Cholesterol is good. Doctor was pleased. Which is good because I didn't even have to give up bacon! Thanks Lipitor! haha
Thyroid still needs tweaking so he upped my dosage on that. Said not to get my hopes up that it will help me lose weight, though.
Bugger.
I flunked eating well this week. Two Starbuck's frappacionos and a trip to Panda for, get this, orange chicken with BACON.
Bitch, please.
It's only two of my favorite things smashed together. If they served it with a side of chocolate and a mug of coffee I'd be in total heaven.
I'm currently stuck at 269. Have been there for about two months now. Not like I've been extra cramming in a bunch of junk and I've actually been physically active lately. But, yeah. 269.
I also haven't been super diligent in eating right, either. Although, I got an app on my phone that's supposed to help me track and according to them, I should be eating 2160 calories a day. Which is right around what I've been getting lately anyway so I really don't know what else to do. Take up jogging, knees be damned?
*sigh*
I find myself doing really well with most meals. This week I've been eating Greek yogurt for breakfast, a half sammy and some Pringles (counted out to proper portions, thankyouverymuch) and water. Lots of water. I've even being eating Lean Cuisines and Smart Ones for supper. Funny how two Frappacinos and a trip to Panda is all it takes to keep you from losing a pound or two.
OH!! And yesterday I walked about a mile after I ate the Orange Chicken with bacon. I almost threw up by the time I reached my destination because it was hot and I'm WAY outta shape. Which might have been a good thing if I had tossed my cookies.
KIDDING!
Sort of.
I have no intention of becoming bulimic or anything. I hate vomiting. But you know, if only I hadn't ingested all those calories.
I'm all over the place today. And all that to say that I'm still here, fighting limply at what feels like a lost cause.
