So I did go eat Panda Express with my friends. We didn't get any committee junk done/discussed but it was fun anyway.
I didn't get a walk in yesterday because I left work early but I got lots of walking in at Wal-Mart. Lots of ducking and weaving, too. It was INSANE!! Like, I wanted to tear my hair out and cry because it was so insane.
The local frozen yogurt bar added my favorite flavor onto this week's rotation...Cherry Amaretto. Yum. I promised myself a long time ago that I'd treat myself when they put that in so I stay true to it. It is fat free, though I doubt it's very low in sugar. Especially since I pumped a ton of chocolate syrup on it. haha
My mother invited me to go out with her and my dad for supper at the local diner. They have fried catfish on Friday and Saturday nights and it is delicious. But I declined. Not because I didn't want to. Or not entirely because I didn't want to. I mean, I wanted to eat some delicious fried catfish but I was so tired that I didn't want to leave my house. So I stayed in with the pup and we ate a half a Totino's Canadian bacon pizza and a Reese's cup. And that was all I needed.
This morning I got up and made a delicious onion, jalapeno, potato and cheddar omelette. It was spicy and filling and I should do that more often. I missed my Sonic burrito, though. :-(
To make up for it, I think I'm going to eat at Wendy's today. I'm still trying to talk myself out of it and just go home but I'm pretty stubborn when I want to be. haha I had to work a few hours today and I've still got some shopping to do before I go home and I know if I wait until I get home to eat I'll raid the kitchen SO HARD that I may as well have just eaten the darned burger and fries anyway.
Tonight will likely be the other half of the Totino's from last night.
I'm cooking baked coconut shrimp with twice baked potato and bacon bbq jalapeno poppers for lunch tomorrow at my folks' house. They usually cook lunch for me so I figured I owed them one. ;-) All of my Daddy's favorite things...Bacon, taters, shrimp, jalapenos, coconut. Oh, and if all goes well, I'm making a chocolate pudding, too. Hopefully it'll turn out as good as my Granny's always has. :-) We shall see!
